Hmm Would it make alot of difference? + im sure all these people who mod there cars could Save weight by not sticking 20000000000000 speakers in there cars:)

But the people who are wanting to reduce weight in their cars wont be having sound systems I wouldnt of thought

sounds a great idea iff your running a track day car and you need to shed every last bit of excess weight

I thought about fitting one of these when I first built My car, glad I didn't now cause I'd be on My third one now

Also You have to consider that You are reducing the amount of water in Your coolant system when You do away with the heater matrix. This is not a good in My opinion.

Would anybody do away with an oil cooler on their car if it came as std??

The heater matrix acts the same but for the water, so keep it and save yourself a good few quid

i know this sounds like a cheesy advert  but.......
i don't run a heater or a heated screen, the de-misting used to be a problem till i discovered fog-ex anti-fog!
its an anti condensation product made by the makers of rain-ex (also excellent btw) and it does really work!!!

and no i don't work for rain-ex  i've just had novas without heaters for a while and know a load of rally drivers so i know what does/doesn't work.

btw both rain-ex and fog-ex (anti fog) can be purchased from halfords, about ?5 a bottle and last for ages.

prob a stupid question but do you put it on the inside or the outside of the windows?

Snowface

it is inside the actual windscreen.

i.e. you got a whole new windscreen with lots of tiny wires running up and down it that heat up when you turn the switch on.

a bit like a heated rea window except the wires are much smaller and there are lots more of them.

Stuart

the rain x anti fog goes on the inside

i tried some in 1995 and it was crap lol. i guess it must have got better.

BigRuss

lots of people I know (without heaters  ) have tried it on wet rally's, it's still crap :)

Snowface

how is it meant to work? are the drops of rain meant to run straight off or do they form tiny droplets or something?

the thing i hate most is when ur stuck behind a car/lorry and the road is wet and has been rained on recent but its not actually raining.

All the dirty specs of spray you have to keep rinsing off every few mins.

ill make a cunning duct devce to channel cold air at the windscreen while driving.

rain x gives the windscreen a very low friction surface so when the rain forms and your travelling at atlast 30or so, the water will roll off the glass.

kinda like when you hit 100 and the water just buggers off, but it happens at much lower speeds.

i love my eagle F1's it makes a proper cloud hang behind me when im on the M25 lol

how much and where do you get ur F1's from.

I saw Here (http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/reifenbestellen.pl?typ=75766&dsco=10) some Bridgestone B391's for ?34.60 each delivered. They got 1.9 out of 5 on reinfest tyre testing thing (1 is good- 5 bad).

what you think?
