i've been working at Astle bmw for about 5 months now its been great but today i was told i'd have to have a exam, i didn't think that much of it untill my boss told me that the exam would contain algebra and ratios and other mathematics, that might not sound a problem to you guys but to me its a big problem because i'm dislexic with maths. The other problem is iff i fail i'll lose my job :o

I've got an exam tommorrow morning at 9.00 and i'm on here instead of revising :roll: When that exam is out of the way i'm going to get completely rendered 4 nights on the trot, so everything i was trying to remember gets completely destroyed again!

Don't know what to say about your exam though mate, apart from all you can do is revise the stuff you did at gcse math's or get some mate's to go over it with you. Just try to cram it in your brain the night before and remember it the best you can and then whack it all down on paper the next day. Always works for me :wink:

i had to do the same thing when i was unfortunate enough to work at Peugeot, to progress from mechanic to technician. It wasnt actually that bad mate. most of it was about electronics and calculating values in circuits and stuff. bit crap but gotta be done

no offence, but vehicle technitions rarely need to work out values in circuits as all they ever need to see is the wires lol

we do all the "hard" work in development ;)
