newbie question

i know nowt bout cars but where is the spark plugs in a 89 nova, and how do u get them out?

At the front of the engine. You will see 4 leads coming from the right hand side of the block from a plastic cap (the distributer cap). They come out and go down and fit on top of the spark plugs. You just have to pull these off the spark plugs to gain access to the sparl plugs.

If you are new to cars, get the Haynes manual as you can learn a fair bit from that.

if its a 1.2 there at the end of those pritty blue leads, you pull em of and place a spark socket over it and unscrew the spark plug


im sure some 1 else will tell me im a newby n i should shuttup and leave it to the big boys but hey no 1 else was replying

lol thanks jus that i had a flat batt and i think i flooded them by trying to start it so i gotta burn the petrol that might be on them
