To save opening a new post I was wanting to know what exhaust to get that "burbles/ Bubble" when engine breaking comming down the gears, or would my peco powermaster do it with the middle silencer removed.

Cheers lads

Pthh... if you want proper Jap get an S13/RX-7/GTO/Supra etc

Anyway... Isn't the exhaust popping due to unburnt fuel getting into it? I always thought popping exhausts were bad news...? My mate's 5" Rage exhaust burbled quite nicely when de-accelerating, but it sounded a bit hollow all the rest of the time.

My GTE has a magnex s/s full system. No probs with it at all.

Sounds good, and is guaranteed for life. Perfect

Yeeeer, magnex all the way.., save up for a decent zorst.., i had a Ashley system on my old 1.4SR.., very noisy and sounded abit pants against the magnex etc.. But then again full Ashley systems are like just over 100squid.. Personallllly i'd save up abit, in the end you only get what you pay for

popping is simply cause by excess fuel entering the zorst and igniting

fitting after market exhaust system normally moves the engines VE around a bit so the ecu wont be fuelling 100% right for the new setup and this is why u get the popping

normally because even at idle the engine is flowing more air the ecu will be injecting more fuel - it overcompensates and u get pops
