Opinion about Undercar Neons

I just wanted to know what everyone thinks about them
there is a nova 1.4sr around my area looks smart but he has just put some neons on and they look ok but your can see the tube across the bottom and makes them look less good.
but personnally i like neons that only show the right and when you can not see the tube.

Just wanted to find out what everyone thought

Neons only look good if a) they give off a good pool of light, and b) you can't see the neon tubes hanging off. Oh and c) if the car is bodykitted and etc; they look out of place on a standard looking car.

i have one small red one, on the back, under the novadoes bumper

comes on when i brake :D

i have just ordered me interior ones too

and have led lights in the boot

Neons only on fully kitted cars and definately must be hidden from view.

No fear of being able to see any neons when my cars finished.

The side skirts are one off jobbies from MCR, courtesy of Ebay.

Meant for a Clio and "adapted" to fit a Nova

i agree with most opinions here, neons only look right on modded cars, and its a BIG NO NO if you can see the light, not just the glow

there is a car neer where i live and its gor red neons and you can tell he must of payed about ?20 for them, when there on all you can see is 4 lines of red light under his car, i feel sorry for him.

And also a big "illegal" too, if you can see the neon tube itself I believe...?

Also, I've heard mumbles that red ones can be deemed illegal too, as you're only supposed to have red lights rear facing on the back of the car?

yeh i heard something like that its the same with side lights you can have any colour on the front aslong as it isnt red and you can have any on the back as long as its not white. but not totally sure about it all tho
