when its wet my car runs on 3 and splutters
what could cause this

need to change the leads plugs and dizzy cap mate

might be head gasket going if water is getting into 1 of cylinders.

head gasket prolly, head could be split/cracked sumwhere by the 3rd cylinder.

last one is doubfull but you never know? :|

do a compresion teat check the oil as well for water for head gasket
or you spark plugs just need cleaning or replaceing and leads :wink:

check all your sparks mate, could be damp got in the dizzy,check your points and contacts,try swappin a lead ,sprayin a bit of wd40 just to make sure no damp

he said that its only doing it when its wet so all those really harsh things that it could be are very unlikely.

just change what i said and you will be fine.

Very common problem this.
My old XE and my GTE used to do it on the motorway in heavy spray. Its water getting into your dizzy cap or coil. The bet thing to do is seal them with a rubber glove!
