Rebuild proress (Pics)

Jus too keep you all up to date, the engine bay has now been sprayed and i have put the engine in today :D I had loads of problems with the tas alloy rack mounts and im still not entirely happy with how the engine sits on the tas engine mounts so will fiddle with that tommorow, but here's a couple of pics from the last few days...

Have you you used filler and smoothed the inner whell arch?

mark1astramad: nah that was just a referance pic for how i wanted the firewall to be, its a small block 1600 16v anyway

Broos3: the inner arches were bead blasted back to bare metal then prepped and stone guarged, not sure if i am going to leave them red or wax oil them yet. This is a crap pic but as you can see i decided to stoneguard the front panel aswell

looks sweet chap, IMO you should leave the bay red coz a mint paint job under the bonnet looks the nuts 8)

I would paint the inner arches red mate. I was ok when I did mine as i used black waxoil stuff and it looks pretty good. (black engine bay)

cheers for all the positive comments peeps, i hoping to have it done by may/june time, as i have uni exams to revise for now :(. Shame really as i have really enjoyed building it over the last few days and cant wait to drive it now :!:
