that isnt hard to correct if the mk1 look isnt for you just a simple front end swap

Mike.
15-01-05, 07:45 PM
change it for a GTE grille then mate, or put a entire GTE body kit on it

ah ha, you have got a nova for youre first car then?

if you can get hold of a hyanes manual, u will see that nova's are like mechano on wheels, there a piece of pish to work on/modify.

just swap the entire front end for MK2 stuff of an 1990+ onwards nova, the bits should be easy to sourch from a scrappie. :|

you could saw the slats out of the grill but i would just get a GTE grill or something similar tbh

also my m8 has some 15" tsw 5 spoke alloys to go on it, do i need my wheel arches rolled or something or will it be ok?

Mike

what is the offset of ur mates tsw's? nova's are ET49, if ur unsure, it will be stamped/embossed inside the rim.

e.g offset-ET49 etc etc

deankenny

he jus said 15 inch wid 155/195 tyres

Theres nought wrong with 5drs mate. I am thinking about getting a 5dr nova and modding that.

you shouldnt have any problems with the wheels mate, 5dr arches are have more room than the 3dr due to the roundness of them( as appose to the boxy ones on the 3dr) pressuming you havent lowered it you shoudnt have any rubbing with the wheels. and if the offset is close to et49 you should be able to lower it upto -60mm with no problems.
:+:
and 5dr's can look amazing, and not many people modify them so it's easyer to be unique with them

yeh good point 5dr owner, ill check the offset on these alloys anyway hopefully they should be ok
