do i need to do anything else or not

hi there people i have cut the std tpiece 8mm shorter and had it welded
do i have to do anthing else to the linkages on the motor or the motor output ??

how much of the screen does the wiper wipe

and do i just set the wiper arm at centreof screen when tightening it ??

yea just tightne up,no u dont have to touch anything else, i did this but mine snapped cant remeber y was lil while ago,isit a nice bit or welding? try it first before going out in the rain and dont think it will sit up right in the middle sould be wrong tho
