TAS alloy rack mounts

Has anybody had problems fitting the alloy rack mounts that tas sell?

They dont seem to line up with the rack studs perfectly but i may just open up the holes for that, they have sent two bushes that fit behind the rack and its clear that only one of them will fit. I have cut part of the original steering rack rubber off to replace the bush they sent for the drivers side bracket, is this right?

ive heard they are a pig to fit. just open up th holes a bit like you said. just tighten them down well

yeh they are a bit of a nightmare, and that is with the engine out!!, wouldnt like to fit them with the engine in situe.

if you drive had then you may find that you break the mounts.

ive haed a few rally peeps have broken theirs and gone back to STD ones
