1.6 8v t40`s figures

Just a quick question. What sort of top speed would I expect from a 1.6 8v, twin 40`s, piper cam, uprated pully wheels. I think I get about 115 - 120Bhp so hope I can acheive about 120Mph. Is this possible or am I dreaming.

depends on what you rev to and the gear box used. but at about 7K rpm in an F13 cr with 4.18 fd you can get about 125mph, and get there rather fast.

if you was also using a ported head and bigger valves, you could easily get 130+bhp. you could easily reach 125mph with the right gearbox
