oil pressure problems

hello everyone, i have a 1400 nova sr and i am experiencing problems with the oil pressure gauge, i have been told that you can use an oil pressure switch out of a 2.0l cav which has a two wire connection on it apposed to a single wire on the nova which does'nt work on my digital clocks, if any one knows anythink please let me know as i have come very close to blowing up my engine a few times.

I think it could be a nova gsi pressure switch you need, they have a conections!
