can anyone tell me wot the blue and green wire is for in a 1988 1.2 carb nova it comes from the same place as the blue and white one which goes to the altenator. ive looked in the haynes manual and a cant understand the wiring diagrams in it as i dnt really no much about engines. i need to no where it needs to go on a 1.4sri engine thanks.
really need sum help wiv this its doin my head in

green should be the rev counter and blue is normally temperature if thats any help
i mean theres 1 wire thats bluae and green (its blue with a green line on it) but thanks for that tho mate do u no where abouts the connector is on the inlet manifold of a 1.4sri for the blue wire 2 connect 2?

oil pressure sender is down by the crank pulley
blue wire goes onto the nipple on the little block on the back to the inlet manifold that feeds water to the heater matrix

i think 1 of them is for the automatic choke on the 2e3's found on 1.3's and 1.4's. They just tape the wire up on 1.2's (mine is).

the blue & green wire is of no importance unless u have a 1.0l engine cuz its for the old points ignition system. all other engines are electronic ignition so this wire is redundant along with any plain green ones that may be lurking by your coil.
