Thanx cornish, but all ive read that i can see is info on the models and dates nothin i can see explainin mk1, mk2 etc, but then again ayb im blind or stupid or even both! I bet its summit really simple!

the front of the mk1 does not have the wings coming under the headlamps and neither does the grille, the bumpers are shorter, the dash inside is more "up 2 date", the k reg would b a mk2, ne thing b4 H reg should b mk1 (unless som1 has modded the car b4!) and thats all i can think ov, im sure there r more things 2 look out 4!

if you look at a nova and think - thats not quite the same as mine... look at the front end, the mk2 lights are narrower and the front end looks much tidier usually.
it is relatively simple to turn a mk1 into a mk2 front end though so dont be fooled - generally speaking if its before a H plate then its a mk1, regardless of what the front end or the dash looks like.
