well im thinking of getting a valver instead of my 8v as i really like the look of them and the tuning possibilities.

this will mean getting rid of the 8v.

its brand new basically. every bearing seal pump etc has been replaced only 1000 miles ago. just run in really. the spec is as follows

kent ast15 cam
kent vernier pully
ported head.
match ported manifolds.
reworked valves for better flow.
new bullet nose valve guides
skimmed head for high compression.
50thou overbore on block and new pistons
lightened and ballanced flywheel and crank.
ARP rod bolts.
machined PAS pully to fit engine to nova (can be replaced if being fitted to another car)
inlet manifold for 45 carbs with injector positions if needed
twin 45 dellortos with linkages and cables
facet red top fuel pump
fuel king regulator
XE exhaust manifold modified to fit 8v head and nova exhaust system.
brand new 1.2 dizzy with adaptor plate made to fit big block head.

its about 160 - 170 bhp but unsure as ive not had chance to get it set up properly yet.

any questions post here and ill gladly answer them.

just want to see if there is any interest in it and then ill put it in the for sale section if there is.

it cost about 2k to build so bear that in mind in your offers. :D

i was aginst the xe route but ive seen what they can do and with a good diff they can handle too. just want a lump that as almost as powerful as mine with plenty of scope for improvement.

the 8v is almost a 2.1

mate break the engine

keep the 45s chuck em on the valver...

sell the rest u'll make more on it that way i reckon

then sell the engine for a few hundred quid with a spec'd up bottom end adn head etc...

then RWD the valver
