Running a 42 offset

My alloys have been delivered today but they f*cked up.

As far as I know i cannot buy these wheels from anywhere else.

They were supposed to be an offset of 49 but they sent me an offset of 42.

In reality what are the chances of these wheels fitting a GTE thats been dropped 35mm on KYB shocks and PI springs. I dont want to do any arch rolling as I've heard that it could speed up the rusting process.

FYI they are 15"'s

mine are et42, they were fine when i had cheap tyres, when i got f1's with rim protectors they rubbed. send them back if they are new. tell them nova offset is et49

if you bought them at ET 49, and they deliverd 42's. send em back

its tempting to fit them and think 'To hell with it'. But you may regret it down the road (excuse the pun).

best send them back and get the propper ones on there.

the problem i have with sending them back is that there not made anymore and they only had one set with et49.

you will almost defo need to roll the arches and it will tramline a bit

my bros is lowered 60mm on et49 cav wheels (6j15) and they scrape a little when 4 up on cornering

ive got ET38's!!!!! and me tyre's have got them rim protectors on, and the back they did rub like made (even in a fully stripped out rear!)

now tho, they've batterd out the rear arches :lol: :wink: and are fine :|

i finally got the rear arches done now, but they're still really close, i can only get one finger btween the tyre and arch. 15's lowered 35mm! very close tho

Hmm.... my et38s were fine; lowered 50mm rear and 60mm front with rolled rears and standard fronts. Couldn't take rear passengers but then thats not a bad thing :wink:
