There are the most recent pictures. Not much really but the car is ready to run now. Cp is spraying the inside again for me just to make things neat again.

Once its sprayed its a case of getting the brake lines in and sorted / Polycarb windows back in / seats / and just some minor bits then it should be a runner. Cant see me putting it ont he road tho before april time. if not later. Perhaps just in time for summer as theres a few other bits that will need fitting and sorting
Many thanks to CP / Dan for getting it this far too! roll ont he good times:)

Headlights are not new. But they are very clean.
I think the flash made them come out like that.
Front bumper undecided. Might just go with a gsi perhaps cut out and a splitter. pehaps laguna or summat else.
Something i need to think about i guess.
looks gay lol :p
put a 1.2 in ;)
umm gis a shout when you come to fire it up, so i can be there to sort the loom fire

Thats Looks Soooo Sweeet! Nice one Chris. (And of course the others that have helped you), you've done a top job so far.
My only comment is Im not sure about the pearl on the wheels still.... May look good when its all clean, but either white (the same as the car... or as Keith said Gloss black like the bumpers).
Are you now keeping with the webers? or you still on the look out for TB's?

That is looking realy good chris!! Im not sure on the colour of the wheels either. As keith said gloss black would look neet. White body and black bumpers look great together.
Bruce

Fear not! The wheels will be going the same white as the car!
And yes i have some track wheels sat in my garage. Just waiting for some nice inters to go on them.
As for keeping the carbs. Ive decided not to go throttle boddies.
I have my reasons :) But im sure alot of people will be suprised when it finally makes its debut lmao!!!
Its not gonna be a well finished car. Not a show car. But the aim is make it clean. But make it go!! which is the main plan!!

Thanks for the comments
Sweet job, looking just like mine although I have MO's and no cage.
I have a set of QED direct to Head Throttle bodies for sale with DTA management, 6 months old, got used for 1 month, PM me if your interested. Got a good price going on them as a new project is underway

Cheers for the offer mate but i no longer need throttle boddies.
Ive decided on a few things and throttles wont be going on my setup im afraid. But this dosent mean i wont have 'tad' more power next year.
I have other plans in the pipe line. just a matter of time to sort everything out. As it definatly wont be on the road until its 100 percent how i want it.
(which could tke a few years lol. just kidding)
out of curiousity tho how much are you asking? im sure theres loads of people intrested. I saw a compelte set of qed direct to head throttles with dta management and all the wiring/filters/ the lot for ?1250 on migweb.
??
Looks sweet!!
I hope the bumpers are gonna stay black? Gotta agree that black rims would look awesome (probably better than white, although white would also look fantastic) but that's just my opinion.
I'll try and photoshop those pics to see how black rims might look.
:D
