ive decided im gonna build a turbo lump out of one of the spare engines ive got. problem is i dont know wether to use a spacer plate or custom pistons to lower the compression, im thinking the spacer plate is the better option because at least if i melt a piston i can buy another off the shelf

posted again due to highjackers

find info on all options availiable and weigh up pro's + cons & costs of each.
a few members have done this engine so pm them to find out what problems they found when doind it and why they chose the option they did

u can run upto a BAR of boost (14.7PSi I think) fine with a spacer mate, after that you'll need pocketed pistons.

thank you neil! ive also been looking at the fueling side of things, now i recon this injector
https://www.burtonpower.com/prodpics/large/SC621%20Injector.jpg
looks identical to this injector

the top injector however is an 803 dark green cosworth injector which can cope with 350bhp, so a set of these will easily flow enough so that i dont need a 5th injector. do you peeps recon this is a good plan ??

Nope not really, depends what management your using. To much fuel for a 1.6 turbo. You cannot just sling any injectors on   Rick
