My mate just got this link in an email.. asking him to update his information..

http://203.230.169.12/~maviza/paypal/update.htm?=https://www.paypal.com/=cmd_login_access_account_uptead_curreny%%r#28user 298sdfsdfttssfs239%

Seems ok ish at first glance but check out the details they've asked him for! The rest of the site is actually paypal but that page is just a copy..

Only takes a bit of common sense to realise this is a scam.. I've never seen one quite this bad though!

I had that a while ago and this was what I got back when i reported it.

"Thank you for your recent email to eBay regarding your current
situation.

Please note that there have been cases where fraudsters have attempted
to gain access to an eBay member's personal information by sending
"spoof" or hoax E-Mails. Spoof E-Mails intentionally give the false
impression that they have been sent by eBay to encourage people to
transmit their account information.

Based on your inquiry to eBay, the E-Mail you received was likely to be
a spoof. If you entered personal information such as your password, or
credit card numbers into a web site based on a request from a spoofed
email, you need to take immediate action to protect your identity. For
information on spoof emails and what action you need to take if you
have
entered in your personal information, we strongly encourage you to read
our spoof tutorial:

It's just like anything, don't reply to an e-mail asking for your password and etc etc.

If you are dubious, go to the website itself, and update through that.

These scams have been going for ages, and will continue to do so. Obviously they wouldn't exist if they were not successfull.
