i think the 1.4 would be, wot do you think.
what im running at the moment:
1.4 (astra engine)
twin 40s

with the head i will be running a piper cam set
the descriptions are vauge lol
if the 1.4 head has bigger valves and isnt a square inlet port one then id say that would be a better option.
but if the 1.4 head IS square port, then the 1.3 head is best.

it says thge 1.4 head is the SE head so its gonna be the round port mpi versioon
this is the better head in std trim so a worked one will be an excellent choice for your engine
please note u will need to buy a 1.6GTE inlet manifold for your 40's as the ports on your 1400 manifold wont line up

also the 1400 auction comes with a cam as well so that will help things along nicely

Will i need to change the exhaust manifold as well??

no all the 8v J-Series family 1 exhaust manifolds are the same
