GTE idel control switch

hi guys
just done an engine transplant, its a GTE engine it will fire up and run perfect apart from that it wont idel. the black box on the inlet mandifold near the end were the air flow meter is, has not got any power going to it, i've read the manual and it says that this is the idel control. the wires that come out of it are:

brown/blue
brown/green
brown

does anyone know were these connect upto? is one wired upto ignition?

ignition wire's are red and black (correct me if wrong) so i dont fink it goes to the barrel, maybe the alternator tho?

u shouldnt need to connect that to anything due to the gte engine loom being in one piece, the oly wires u should really need to wire up it the ones where the plug is, thats it, must be a problem within the engine loom itself
