i want to a buy this nova 1.2 but she says it only lights on 3 cylinders then kicks into 4 is this serious or shall i avoid his car?

How much is it?
It may only be a dody HT lead to that plug, or dizzy cap or summit.
But then again it could be serious

if the shell is solid buy it and if the engine is fucked just change it , it is a very simple job on novas :D

they say it does start once the 4th kicks in, but i dont know much bout cars so i dont want one that needs work coz i dont have a clue where to go!

If you can't swap engines etc then i wouldn't bother. But as riggy said its pretty easy, and if it is a good shell you could have a nice solid nova, and out a SR engine in or summit.

If it is not sparking on number 4 then it is easy, plugs, leads or dizzy cap. If it is not firing on no 4 then it could be a little worse.

not firing on four until its warm sounds like head gasket is on the way out
