View Full Version : Debt...
The question of all questions... how much debt are you in :?: :o
I owe an undisclosed 5-figure sum to the Student Loans Company & have got a couple of credit cards although they don't have a balance on either of them.

I have the grand total of ?0 debt now after years and years of being heavily in debt
If you include a mortgage then I'm in debt - if you don't then I'm not.
about 1k to the bank of parents for bits i needed on my nova + re-trim
and i think i've got about ?300 on my cc which will be paid off at next bill

?78K thousand on credit cards. Mint. Can YOU afford not to be without it? lol
?6k+ to the Student Loans Company (yawn, currently ?25 a month repayments... hmm what incentive to pay THAT off lol)
?2.5k for... something or other, can't really remember where that came from
And no doubt about another ?5k when I buy a GTFour or 200sx. Joy.
Yet most of my mates have huuuuuge inheritances, and still get everything bought for them (one of my friends who earns ?16k a year, lives at home rent free in a 5 bedroom house, had a GTi-6 bought for him for ?5k which his parents then spent a further ?3.5k on repairs when he kept breaking it); and they still moan about not having any money!
will owe the student loan company ?14,000 in june
great!!

^^^ True. I have found myself to be considerably richer since beconming single.
With my ex, she saved her money, whilst i allways (somehow, magically) managed to end up paying for EVERYTHING.
:? I would never make my other half pay for everything how unfair is that!! And i would never blame anyone else for my debt i did it all by myself.
I understand bout the student debts guys it just has to be done its mad though education and your paying for it for years to come!!
:lilangel:
And i would never blame anyone else for my debt i did it all by myself.

I want a house!!!
Well i'm in no debt, got about 1k in saving which is amazing!!!!!!!
although i did get a bonus from work for 3k (after tax) only two months ago...stupid expensive birthdays and christmas!
the only debt i would consider is student loan and a mortgage, as both are unavoidable
ive never had the student loan but then again ive not been to uni
ive always been in an apprenticeship
so my collage was paid for and the money i earnt kept me in beer

There isn't ANYONE who isn't in bedt in one way or another in todays society.
Even if you have a mobile phone, you are in debt, since you pay for your usage after you've used it. And etc.
It's not the debt that is a problem in itself, it's the MANAGEMENT of debt.
i have no debt.
i don't owe anyone anything, i still use Pay as you go, so infact, my phone is like a small bank.
i don't pay anything at the end of the month e.t.c
not in debt at all i can't remember when i was :D

no.. but in essence it is just like a mini bank..
there is money on the account, waiting for me to spend it.
