right, I have had my nova 2 years. I have modified it a lot since I got it and I have learnt alot of valuable information about cars and engines in the process.

The nova has had a big makeover, including lots of cosmetic stuff and lots of performance extras, including the recent addition of the 2.0l lump.

Im taking the car to Belgium in may and see this as my last long trip in the nova because I plan to sell it and get something else.

Now heres the interesting part. What do I get next.

I have got it down to a list of a few.

1. Peugeot 106 GTI
2. Peugeot 306 2.0 XSI
3. Golf GTI 2.0l 16v
4. Saxo 1.6 VTR

My budget will stretch to around ?5.5k max. The insurance is the biggest problem.

what do you think ?

:D:D 2.0l 8v. It actually works !!!! :D:D

Buy a decent Mk2 Golf 16v for 2grand and spend 3grand on mods, Pug 106 Gti would be nice but for 5 grand you might struggle to get a gud one.

I can't be arsed to start modding another car. I want something that looks nice, has a few luxuries, and performs well and is quite new.

I'm having grief getting insured FC on the 106 GTI as im not 21, even though im insured FC on the 2.0l nova at the moment ??

:D:D 2.0l 8v. It actually works !!!! :D:D

I say go for a GTi-R aswell. Buy a shitter for a run around, with tax & test, insure it fully comp and then register the GTi-R in your parents name (if they don't mind), pay for there insurance on it with full NCB like most parents have and then you will be insured to drive the GTi-R tpf&t.

Austin_Nova has a similar setup with a Skoda Estelle as a run around with his 2.0L 16V Nova. All in all i think he pays about ?700, and he is only 21, including paying for his parents on the Nova.

won't be getting any of them now, I can't get insured Fully Comp on any of them for less than ?3k !!!!

Its a fucking joke. I have to wait until Im 21, even though Im insured Fully Comp on the 2.0l 8v with all the mods listed for ?1k.

Ive got a clean liscence and 2 years no claims but it don't count for shit !

Fucking Wankers insurance companies !!!!!!!!

Looks like im keeping the Nova now, or else get something that isn't classed as a Hot Hatch.

:D:D 2.0l 8v. It actually works !!!! :D:D
