rust like all novas lol, shouldnt have any problems with the engine as long as its been looked after though

rust 2 a nova is like shot guns 2 rabbits. its the biggest killer :(

if we only lived where it didnt rain as much like spain etc our novas wud be better off :D

check in the boot under the carpet for rust as most nova's tend to go there an can lead to big holes!
rear arch and bottoms of doors tend to be main rust points where water gets trapped.

engines are easy to work on an also tune an most parts common in scrappys so not too much to worry about in that department.

also check in the engine bay around strut tops and down chassis rails, front crossmember, and put you hand up unside the wing to the strut top and they go there too

Both my saloon and hatch have needed welding on the rear chassis, round by the rear suspension arms and components - have a good poke round here as corrosion near suspension components will fail you an MOT.
