all depends on wat sub u get n wat u want the amp 2 do etc like running jst a sub or jst ur speakers. personnally im plannin on runnin 2 amps. 1 for 6x9s n 1 to run 2 10" jbl subs (wen i can get me fund up).

wouldnt it be easier if i just got a multi channel one? il be honest, im not too sure what im doing, what the multi channel is etc, tbh i jst got a vague idea on what the amp does lol, a multi channel would run Sub and speakers right?
and im guessin the amp, 'amplifies' the sound... makes it , louder, clearer or w/e ?

If you're running a sub, never run more than 1 pair of 6x9s off the same amp. also, 1 sub will sound poo. you're far better off having 2 10" subs off 1 amp, 2 6x9s in the shelf off another. run the door 6x9s off separate mini amps which will fit inside the door builds. the dash speakers & tweeters can be amped from the head unit. msg or e-mail me if u want more info.

you can plug it to a pc but you'll either need a good supply of car batteries or a whackin great transformer to power the amp. it will only run on 12Vdc. subs must be amped, you cant use it without.

Do you know anything about the fusion AMP and SUB they are doing in halfords...? ?200... heres link .. http://www.halfords.com/opd_product_details.asp?id=18931&type=0&cat=39
would all i need is a convertor to decrease the volts, (out of socket 230 or sommit to 12?) is that all id need ? or anything to actually connect it to the pc?
thanks

Had a look at the Fusion stuff the other day in halfords, can't remember exact specs, but I do remember not being that impressed with it.

Why do you want to wire a car amp/sub to your pc? You can already get decent subs for pcs anyway, or connect to a stereo system with a decent sub...

hmm maybe i will test or stay away from fusion then, im guessin ?200 it cant be all that, because, im waiting for the right car to come along, possibly 2 months or so, so i can have a bit of money backed up for anything that needs doing, but i can get an AMP n SUB n stuff now, and im into music and have got a fairly decent sub for my PC now, but id just wanna get some use out of it, experiment etc, i was wondering if it was possible?
+ i wanna get to know about the stuff like, i have no idea about OHM and channels n stuff.. i dont know if any1 knows bout them 2600 WATT SHARK amps on ebay that are like ?80?

Say i wanted to run 2 subs, some 6*9s n some random speakers for the doors, would i only need the one amp which is 4 channel? and what does OHM mean? / what does it do etc?
thanks

Nick's Lesson On Ohms (http://www.novaload.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=103541) lol

I've always thought you'd be best off having one amp for subs, and one amp for 6x9s - although to be fair with a decent set of components you don't need 6x9s. However, 6x9s will probably run ok straight from your HU; my old alpines sounded better direct off the HU than via an amp :?

There was a post in here somewhere about Shark audio. Its fairly new; hence the cheap prices. Apparently its not bad for budget stuff.

lol thanks for that i'll check the other topics out :) got any 'components' you can recommend? maybe i should look in to them and not 6*9's i know all the halfords 6*9s are crap lol...
thx for the info :)
