i've managed to fit 4x13cm speakers (baxter has 2 of them in photo - same sony ones actually) 4 x 6x9's (again baxter has 4 of them as well) 1 sub (he got 2) and an amp (he got 4 :| :? ) all in my car and it just looks normal. back seats, boot, everything.

you can fit 4 6x9's in the parcel shelf

so it can alllll be done... just those amps are gonna be a squeeze

lol, how you gonna cool it ?

just run some vents that blast cool air in there. I.e the circulation vents in the door pillars ?

i just bunged 4 speakers in the doors, 4 speakers in the parcel shelf, sub in the boot and amp on the back of the seat. jobs a gud'un. sounds good as well.

cunning...

altho if it starts getting hotter the fans will just be blowing warm air onto the amps. ideally you'd need a fresh supply from somwhere

Bloody hell! :o

Im going to have 2x12" 1000watt jbl subs do you know what power amp would be the best to run these two? I was thinking a 1600-1800 single channel then bridge it to run both subs. Or if i do that would i only need a 800 watt amp. Any advice ? :? :?

I have no idea lol i must have used the wrong word......... run them parallel like this.

http://img44.exs.cx/img44/4011/impspk2p3yh.gif

It said........ "In a parallel circuit (like the two examples above), each device is directly connected to the power source. This means that each device receives the same voltage. The amount of current flowing through each device is dependent on the impedance/resistance of that particular device. If devices are added to the power source in a parallel configuration, the current demand/flow from the power source increases."

Does this mean that if i used a 800watt single channel amp with the two 1000 watt subs and run them in parallel they would both get 800 and be running almost full power?

Cheers Dan

Sorry for going off task......

bridging takes the + of one channel to the + of the sub and then the - of that channel to the + of the 2nd one, then the -n of the 2nd channel to the - on the sub.

just be sure you can run it bridged (will say in tech spec_)

motobruce running them in parallel like that i beleave would mean each would get 400watts
