oil cooler

im using a engine from a cav 2000 gsi and it has a oil cooler.Do i have to use the oil cooler in my nova?

most people dont use them, i dont use one on mine. You will need to get rid of the sandwich plate where the pipes come out of the oil filter. Need to change the union so that just the oil filter screws on.
