32/34's fit and do i use the 13sr inlet manifold? Also, its an Astra engine, are the engine mounts the same or different?

the astra engine mounts are different, use the novas one an you'll be fine
yes you use the 1300 inlet manifold
very very vague question!
for fitting as phil said use the nova engine mounts
as for the carb an inlet manifold the 32/34 webber if that's what you mean is meant as a direct replacement for the pierberg 2e3 carb on the 1.3+1.4sr an few other models (but with man. cable choke)
if the inlet manifold ports match to the ports on the head you are fittin it to then yes use it if it doesn't then you'll have to find another one that matches
i thought you needed an adaptor plate to be able to fit the webbefr 32/34?
you do, it's a small horrible metal plate which needs a bit of modifying to give better fuel travel but carb was is replacement for the original pierberg one,
if he's got the webber though chances are he'll have the plate

Indeed - The Adaptor Plate is a terrible piece of work:

Ideally It wants having the carb footprint marked on it then bolting it to the manifold and machining it all up nicely.... or a big file....
It will go on either the 1.3 or 1.4SR manifold.

How deep is the adaptor plate, i'm not too sure if i've gt one, but it looks pretty straight forward to make one...
Will the 1200i mounts fit the engine or do i need 1400 items?
the mounts will be the same for the 1.2 + 1.4 ones as long as they are nova ones
from what i can recall the adapter plate is just below 1/2'' thick
was the carb on a manifold when you got it?

that looks the same as mine did!
Haven't got it just yet, its still on the XR3 its coming off so i probably can get it. Do i need cables or anything apart from the carb and adaptor plate?
if it's on a Ford escort xr3 manifold
it won't have the adapter plate to fit a Vauxhall nova manifold
also check it's the 32/34 dmtl carb as i'm pretty sure there are more than one type of webber carb with the 32/34 chokes
How do i tell the difference? :? And will it matter if it is a DMTL item?
Am i right in assuming that the adaptor plate is just a shaped piece of aluminium with no studs built into it, but passing through it?
if its of an xr3 it probably wont run right as it will be jetted/set-up for the 1600
