Yes Folks, Happy Chrisymas, New Year and anything else I've not mentioned. And Many More.
Now, I've got a 14 Astra sp engine, ported and polished head, Kent cam, Solid lifters and not much else. I've sourced a GTE Manifold and gearbox (which I'm told will take away from the cars performance, true?) but what i now need is what carb do i fit? Twin 40's aren't an option as they'll put the car into a different insurance group. I was thinking about a weber 32/34, but will the 13SR inlet manifold work or will i need to use a different one, and if Weber still do an adaptor plate to suit it. Also, its just the two gearbox mounts from the Nova I use, the rest is all Astra, is that right?
Listen, any help will be much appreciated so, please help if you can. Cheers lads. :D

what is the nova at the mo ?

if it's a carb then swapping the SP engine over to carb will be Ok

if it's injection or SPi at the mo, you'l have to sort out some fuel pressure problems.

Sorry mate, i dont even have the carb yet. Its on an XR3 i sold to a man to re-shell his G3 Escort. All i can tell you is the wee ports on the underside aren't round, they're rounded, but not circular. If you post a pic i'll tell you if its the right one.
