16" alloys, go on without mods????

Looking at a nova tomorrow and already got masitaly 16's, will they fit on a MK2 nova without hacking away at the arches. The tyres are 195/45/16, and offset 45.
Will they fit on.
If they go on with standard height suspension will they fit with lowered suspension.

They might just fit but they will scrub when u go round corners or have people in the back.

Fit on mine fine til i lowered it. Dropped 60mm and had to chop the front arches off more or less, and cup the rear lip in half

I'll probably get a cheap set of 15's then, seem to be a lot less hassle, and cheaper tyres.

16's wont go on if the car is lowered.

my mk2 had em on, had to hack out the rear arches :( it's lowered 30 odd mm?
