Bolt on filter

Hi Guys i need some advise. I'm looking for a new filter, possibly a K&N. I think these are best for vauxhall, but does anybody know any different? Also where is the cheapest place to go to buy them?

I have a 1.4 SR (1992)

if a K&N for a 1.3sr will fit ill have one for sale soon as im switching carbs and have no need for it :)

Yes they make a "tourqier" difference, and a improvment in sound. I'd say worth it

1.2 is a different Bolt pattern to the 1.4/1.3 and i think the 1.3 filters are the same as the 1.4 ones, so baxters will probably fit.

Bad in winter as your engine suffers from carb icing (not a big deal if it's not your main car) just need to pop the airbox back on for v.cold days.

It's worth buying a Cleaning kit sometime afterwards, as they get dirty/clogged quite quickly. a cleaning kit wil last you years (comprising of some special Cleaner and some red K&N oil) don't stick it in the dishwasher e.t.c because it ruins it

yeah as said the 1.3/1.4 filters fit and the 1.0/1.2 filters fit on each other

on mine i have a jr filter which denny very kindle gave me :lol:

1.2 K&N won't fit a 1.0, they are completly different makes of carb.
