Engine fault codes

Anybody know how to read these or can point me to a guide? Was driving up the A10, put my foot down in 4th and the ECU light flashed up at about 3000rpm. It's done it before in lower gears, only when booting it though.

Also, are the ECU's interchangeble between C16SE and E16SE engines? I've got a feeling mine's not running the right ECU!

the ecus were different between the two engines, one is bosch and the other is siemens

i dont think they will work at all between models. but dont quote me

cheers bud. i'd forgotten about topbuzz! is there anyway of disguinshing the ECU's from each other? one in mine has nothing written on it, yet a friends Nova with same engine (e16se) has one with Bosch embossed onto it?

wondering if the wrong ECU could cause rough running and the ECU light randomly flash up.
