engine bay strengthening

im taking my 2L 16v out of my nova this week so i can get the engine bay strengthened. has any one got any pictures, diagrams or any info on wot specific parts need to be welded.

also is it worth getting a kit or would a good bodyshop be able do this. :D

basically you want to weld all the seams in the bay and plate up on top of the inner wings. Thats what has been done to mine

Mines bein done in exactly the same way, should be done by thursday :D

if your only fitting a n/a 16v use the proper kit and just stitch weld the legs and turret seams from inside the wheel arch, keeps the bay clean of welding 8)
