lol, at work now, when we design new commercial buildings..

we have to make a small fireproof "box" if you will, so that a wheelchaired person can sit in there untill a fireman/rescuer comes to get them.

it's all down to the fact that a carer is not legally allowed to stay with them, and a person in a wheelchair is not "legally" allowed to use non-suitable escape routes due to blockage.

it's utterly stupid.
