piston rings

in relation to the 2 cylinder post. ive checked the sparks plugs and leads, all are aspraking so its not them or the dizzy (if it was dizzy it wudnt be sparking at all)

so does this mean the piston rings are knackered?

if they are then im after a 1.6 engine with twin 40's!!

When a piston ring goes the car purs out grey/blue smoke from the exhaust (I mean pours out!)
As Water + Oil are mixing, so I'd say that its unlikely
