Need Quick Reference

Guys I need Quick Guide more or less.
I need to change brake pads on my front its standard brakes, I havent got my manual with me, can some one please tell me what step do i follow to change it?

jack car up, remove wheels. find shoulder punch and drive the two pins holding the spring clips on out. retrieve the spring clips from wherever they landed (may take a while!) and pull the pads out with molegrips or similar. push the caliper piston back with a flat thingy and whack the new pads in. put the spring clips and pins back in as well (may take some effort)

you will understand where the springs/clips are when you nock the pins out :lol:

Stick some copper ease on the sliders too.

Also while you are there check all the rubber seals are in good nick.

also copper grease on the back of the pads ... sounds wierd to me, but if im correct it stops them from squeeling ?

could be very wrong tho !

check the pistons/sliders are in good condition, and move freely to avoid brake binding issues
