After reading a post on fitting Corsa front knuckles to a Nova, I proceeded to do so, and during the process discovered that Corsa lower arms are a bit longer (and stronger)than the Nova ones. So: brainstorm!! Could this be a cheap way of gaining negative camber on the front, and would this be of any use? Or am I just talking bollocks? Any ideas would be apreciated.
Cheers!

You are right, but you'll have to be very careful that this doesn't give too much negative camber. Anything much more than about a degree or degree and a half of negative is a no-no for a road car. The other problem you might have is driveshafts dislocating from the gearbox, due to the increased strain you'll get.
It will also throw your tracking out.

thats why my wheels dont have as much camber as they used to!
aha i thought they looked straighter but my mate said "bolloxs u look at your car 2 much"
lower your car loads then sort the camber out
