4500? that doesn't sound like a lot, surely the power comes in at around 5000 - 5500?

i use the term power loosely :lol:

its an 8v so the power shud be around 2k to 4/4.5k?!

the limit shud be higher than that, 6200/6800 i wud of thought

With my old 1.2 carb i only ever took it to the limiter once and iirc it kicked in at about 5200-5300rpm

dunova, if you took your old nova to the limmeter and it was a cabed nova, that was not the limmeter lol, it was your valves bouncing,

the 1.2 SPi should limit at about 6000rpm..

4500 is waaaaay too low.

lol M.d is right, the carbed nova has no limiter. 5230 it should be still going strong.

(i use the term strong, very lightly)
