Im going to run a Kenwood 600w (max) amp to power an Audiobahn 1200 (max) sub.

When i bought the amp 2nd hand it didn't come with any wires so i'll have to buy a wiring kit with the power, remote lead, fuse etc etc but what gauge wire that goes from the amp to the sub?

Which gauge amp wire would be best to use just that i don't want to get some that will melt.

Thanks and Happy Christmas!

Tom

You only have the speaker cable running from the amp to the sub. For anything upto 1000w I would recommend 4-6mm oxygen free speaker cable. Your power cable to the amp should be a minimum of 10mm, the remote cable can be as little as 0.25mm.
