Im a 8v man, but i would say get the 1600 16v much more modding potential.

16v is expensive to tune because u get more bhp per ?

can ring almost 200bhp out of 1.6 16v. if u got a 5 figure bank balance tho?

well, bout 7k id imagine

you probably get around the same bhp per ?, maybe a bit more.

But once you hit 140-150bhp with the 1.6 8v thats when it starts hitting the 4 figures to squeeze smaller amounts out.

i'd say the 16v as you can get some rather silly power out of these engines if you have the money

ive HEARD its bad to run front strut braces with seam/stitch welded bays

rear brace should help tho if its properly welded in between the turrets
