hey there peeps, i need some advice. i have just bought a nova gsi which has got a peco bb2 back box. as i am sure you are all aware, there aint much performance to be had out of this so i am looking for a complete system to realese a few horses. i want the exhaust to come out the back straight as opposed to an angle. i know magnex do one, but not very keen on there's.

what do people suggest??

thanks for your time

what about piper?? does that come out straight? i would have a magnex system if i could have the system, but with the backbox you can buy on its own! think thats much better lookin.

shot in the dark here, but would a janspeed nova 1.4 SR system fit?

the only reason a tail pipe comes out at an angel is because its a mk1 nova back box

scoure ebay for back boxs or get one made up

1) magnex have now STOPPED making all exhausts for nova's

2) all Ashley systems exit straight. IMO they also give the best power at the best price :|

powerflow would not go a miss you can design you own tail pipe and how or where it comes out plus you can say how loud you want it and where you want it from, e.g maifold or back box?

ashley's full system including manifold is very cheap and very good.

Lexmaul do a 4-2-1 manifold, but I think Al Wilson is still selling his one for gsi for under ?100 I'd recommend this manifold.
The Ashley systems are good value for money and suit vauxhalls in my opinion. (they made the exhausts for the Sport - red backboxes!)

Does your GSI have a E16se or a C16se engine (ie does it have a lambda sensor in the manifold?)

janspeed have NOT gone bust, i was there just weeks ago, and not long before that again!!! Janspeed exhausts are very good, both in the power, looks and quality. I for one have never heard of any janspeed systen falling apart... ever.

i got a piper back box its well good nice tone, got the 3.5" otwardly rolled it exits straight, great quality stuff, i deal with janspeed exhausts at worked, i dont know if ots delivery but everyone i get delivered to work always looks crap compared to other makes like piper and supersprint. they do a manifold though!

i have decided to go for the piper system with 3 1/2" outwardly rolled system. will get the manifold as well, so should be able to release an extra 5-6bhp with those two mods.

cheers for the help peeps 8)
