whats the trick to removin the steerin wheel? was playin about it and dont want to put too much ignorence into it for fear of brackin something.

remove horn, undo bolt (24mm? socket) remove washer.

then tap quite hard each "arm" of the wheel, DONT hit it stupidly hard as it'll break ur column, and DONT use ur steering lock to hold the wheel steady. it WILL break! :wink:

best bet is if its tricky to remove buy a steering wheel puller

undo the nut but leave it on a couple of threads so you dont smack yourself in the nose, then pull on it like fook, dont hit the shaft as you can fook your threads

lol, ive hit meself in the face a few to many times with fricking steering wheels!

summit to do with street "furniter" gettin in the way :lol:

i ended up some how moving the steering colum with mine was royaly pished off with it
i shall be getting a puller for my next car only bout ?12 iirc

get a steering wheel puller, draper do a vauxhall one it's about ?15

i buahgt a draper one and a laser one and neither fitted properly

so if your buying one i'd recommend a grinder as well to modify the legs to fit right

Would be easier with a steering wheel puller, I can get mine off without 1, just wiggle it by a bit side to side, while pulling very hard, should pop off, leave the bolt on if u want your front teeth though.
