Hey all. I've got 1 good headlight in my car and a one with the silver coming off. I've also got 2 spares. 1 with a perfect lense and reflector but a smashed plastic back. I've also got 1 with a smashed glass and cracked reflector but the plastic is fine. How do I go about getting them apart without damaging either the glass or the plastic on the good one.
Cheers.
Martin.

afaik you can't, the glass is sealed onto the plastic surround with some (very strong lol) sealant stuff. Admittedly I've only tried it with Mk2 lights, but I'm guessing Mk1's would be the same.

Its a mk2. I know its sealed on, thats the problem. And paying 150 Euro for a new one isn't an option, I don't have the money. And they can't be got in scrap yards over here. Nova/Corsa A stuff is just not available.

What condition are they in? The reflectors and glass have to be perfect and the motors have to be working. As you can imagine having bad lights for a few months is head wrecking. Any chance of some pics?
