Hi guys

I have the Nova sport carbs, Only problem is, What throttle cable to use? As my 1400cc cable is far to short. I heard astra mk 1 GTE? (I also have the irmscher airbox-were they originally black, as All the ones I have seen were silver?)

Any ideas guys???? Any one else had the same problem?

My car is as follows:

(5 speed) 1.4 bottom end, 1.2 cylinder head, 1.3 inlet manifold, Full Gsi stainless steel exhaust system.
Any ideas how it should go with the twins? got 90 bhp with the 32/34 dtml carb.

Please check stillers hybrid under 1.4 forum.

if you got a linkage kit on it then just use a generic 1-2m one and fiddle about a bit.

try the weber "top mounting kit, for single cable operation"

"for use with existing throttle cable"

part No- LP1000 from weber direct!

i know this cause ive got the weber manual infront of me

lol, I'll have to get a picture of my 'linkage' aslo.

Lets just say a shelf support bracket from B&Q is part of it.

Works a treat though and saves me ?50 for a propper one.

so is ur "shelve" braket instead of the engine mounting bracket between the weber's? the one for stability?
