last time was ?95 for the day, ?20 for a 2nd driver/passenger, i am probably gonna need 2 new tyres after the next track day @?75 each, and i spent around ?70 on fuel. ?10 on food in the cafe (coke is ?1 a can)
?200+tyres

Keep me posted on when everyones thinking of booking up, i may be tempted to do another one. Though the PVG have loads of days planned for next year so i think i may need to take it easy in the old girl.

I am meant to be taking a year out with the car

so do they have a petrol station there aswell? or do you have to bring your own? I'm guessing you'd use at least 2/3 tanks if your running all day.

whats the noise level ben? what happens if you your cars too loud?

benji
22-12-04, 05:58 PM
petrol station onsite, about 97p a liter for super, other than that the nearest is airport or a50 services, both are overpriced.

noise level is 98db i think, if you are too loud you will be black flagged and talked to about it, if itr happen's 3 time's then you are not allowed back on. they try their best to get you on track and will tell you how to quieten things down a bit, eaisest way is to get a plate made that will fit over the end of your tail pipe, and drill hole's in it, if you design it so it's removable you will have no problems if it turn's out to be too loud

22-12-04, 07:38 PM
yeah but what if your engine is loud. will they bblack flag you if they think your carbs are too loud

nathan.
22-12-04, 07:47 PM
you'll be ok mate. carbs arnt louder than 98db are they? karl has carbs on his 2ltr 16v and he was ok. you coming all the way from plymouth, thats a fair way? :o

i've never had any trouble with mine. karl was ok with his aswell, it's usually the car's with daft exhaust's that have trouble. i.e. scooby's with a 9" pipe from the manifold back, lol

i wouldnt mind tagging along to one of the meets. its only a stone throw away from my front door, so there aint no problem in getting there for me. not too sure if i will participate in some racing just yet tho, would likely to be made a foul of LOL
