how to fit a thermostat

As said above! If its for example an sri then its a bit of hassle but a 1.2 its easier.

had to remove the cam belt and other stuff when i changed mine, or should i say go my mate to change it :lol:

you shouldnt need to remove the cam belt to change any thermostat in a 1.2-1.6 nova.

cam belt cover off, thermostat housing off, thermo out, new in and refit all other stuff

can't remember, its was a while ago, but i remember we changed the cam belt at the same time...

I took the cam belt off my sri when i changed mine because it was a cnut to get to the bolts on the thermostat housing because of the back cambelt cover...
