View Full Version : evo front bumper
i now have my bumpers witch my parents bought me for xmas, the back novadose bumper has the mounts on it all ready so it just bolts straight on, but the front bumper is missing the bar, wot is the best way to mount it, i thought bout getting a bumper iron and bolting the top on and where the gap is at the front between the bumper and bumper iron get a bit of metal or wood and filling the gap so it is secure and bolting it to the bumper iron and the the bumper to it by some long screws when i put the number plate on, will this work or is there a easier way, lpz help me as i wont it on before the new year, cheers alot oggy
lol.... ok. You'll need some U shaped metal brackets to hold the bumper to the bumper bar. You'll also need to cut about 3" off each end of the bar else it'll poke out where the lamp pods are.
You'll also need two U shaped brakets either side of the bumper to hold it to the wings, and two L shaped brackets underneath that go bolt under the front valance and go behind where the splitter is on the bumper.
Use trim tape or double sided sticky pads to hold the number plate on, don't bother with screws.
cool ok just wondering mate wot lights did u use in the holes coz i woz thinking nini lights if i could fit them, cheers alot oggy
I used Ring Rally Giant driving lamps, there were a few others that would fit - but the Ring ones had the best arranged mounting bolts to fit them inside the bumper
