Is it just me, or do K&N's make your car run like shit from the cold for about 5 miles? Is there anyway i can stop it from 'icing' up?

Also ive got a MK1, and just fitted MK2 bumpers, problem is my exhaust sticks out at an angle and looks shit. How can i get it to come out straight like the MK2's?

to stop the icing, rig up a warm air feed...

as for the exhaust, only thing i can think of is get a new one

K&N + Winter = Carb Icing, so change back to standard or add a warm feed.

MK1 Rear Bumper + Sportex 3" = Straight Exit (and a f**king nice sound)

angled is the way its ment to be but not if its at 45 degrees to the rear bumper! mind you having said that 45 degrees out the side would be good, might have a side exit for the blue nova when i get round to it!

yeh my car runs like crap as well, cuts out when changind down thorugh the gears or when stopping at a junction...

To get a warm air feed, just get some tubing and run it from the exhaust manifold up to the K&N, or you could buy a K&N hot air supply kit, which i reckon would be just the same...
