The name is misleading - I am not wise, or wooden.

yep true, you cant buy road tax with traders policy,

To obtain trade plates you need to prove that you are a trader, proof of business, and I knoe that they are expensive,

if u cant tax a car when u have trade insurance, how does a dealership tax there cars?

when i was valeting i was put on the ford garages trade policy so i could shift cars about the country if the driver was bad, they sent me loads ov times to tax used cars and stuff to a post office! (they used the main dvla place in gateshead for the new cars)

yeah i wasnt sure about the tax thing either cause my cousin runs his golf 16v on a traders policy and he obviously has to tax it at least once a year.

we would only be doing around 5000 miles per year anyway as it was bought for fun only. i will use my 1.3sr for getting to work etc and the turbo for the weekends.
ste ! a turbo for 1500 quid - explain please!! As for the power output its what the guy told us plus he gave us a superchip flyer with calibra turbo before and after torque and power curve on it. i could scan this in if anyone wants to see this. it will be rolling roaded soon as it has not been setup since the air filter has been fitted so we will see the true power then(i hope im right here about the power or ill look a right d*ck lol)
